I think we picked the perfect place to enjoy this town, as Monika was an outstanding host. We pretty much had the guesthouse all to ourselves, as a group of 7 people. We enjoyed all the nice touches from the owner, all the little extras like some food in the fridge, 2 types of coffee to choose from in the morning, and the games and books in the living room. We were a bit in a rush to continue our tour and head back to Keflavik the next day, which was our only regret as we could not enjoy the guesthouse a bit longer.

We woke up to a sunny day with a fantastic view of Mt. Kirkjufell through our windows. The village of Grundarfjordur is small but lovely. Cleanliness and comfort were features of the property; the kitchen was well equipped.
