So welcoming and gave us so much information about the history of Drangar as well as recommendations for the rest of our trip. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable and so quiet. The whole property is stunning and worth walking around! The breakfast was delicious and included homemade bread and jams by the owner which just felt like such a wonderful and warm touch. We both kept saying we wish we could stay longer!! It felt very special!

The house was spacious and comfortable with a large kitchen and all amenities!

The special thing about this place, which in my opinion was the best option for traveling in Iceland, was that the rooms were like hotel rooms with private bathrooms. At the same time, they had a fully equipped kitchen, which you typically don't get in a hotel but is essential when traveling in Iceland to cook meals and store groceries in the fridge. They also gave excellent restaurant recommendations. We went to the restaurant next to the guesthouse and had one of the best dinners of our trip to Iceland. The restaurant felt like a Michelin-starred establishment. It was expensive, but definitely worth it. Thanks for your recommendations and for the wonderful, comfortable service!
