A traditional Icelandic breakfast is served every day at Vogafjos Café, located in a cowshed 3 minutes’ walk from the guesthouse. Dinner based on local produce, such as smoked lamb and trout, is also served here. The meal was delicious, and the staff was kind. Children could also see cows milking up close. It was a great experience.

Bathrooms are shared. Everything was great for Elda house, the location, staff, the facilities and the room, everything was good.

Quietly located 5 km from Iceland's Ring Road and 13 km from Lake Mývatn, this family-run guest house offers views over Sandfell Mountain. On-site facilities include 2 hot tubs and a communal TV lounge. Free WiFi is available in the common areas. We loved our stay here. We were a group of 16 people, some stayed at the cottages and some others at the shared rooms. Bathrooms were super clean and modern, the beds were comfy and the facilities very clean. We had breakfast and everything was delicious. We even bought handmade sweaters at the best price we could get. Loved the farm vibe of the place.
