What a wonderful place to stay! Perfect location for all the sights at the golden circle and a good starting point for the highlands (F35). The owners care a lot, even before you arrive, everything was very clean, I had a big bathroom. For this price the best guesthouse I stayed so far.

This family-run property is 400 metres off Route 1 and 15 km from Selfoss. It offers free Wi-Fi and a terrace. Homemade bread, jam and pastries are served for breakfast.

The hosts were amazing. This was my first guesthouse experience and it exceeded my expectations. We got there and it was already dark. We noticed that the northern lights could be out and the hosts did whatever they could to help us see them. It was great! We were the only 2 people booked for the night but when we woke up there was this massive and delicious breakfast. I was astounded by all the different kinds of food they offered. I would stay here all nights if we weren’t going to drive around Iceland.

This guest house is set on a family-owned, working farm with animals. Central Selfoss in southern Iceland is 7 km away. WiFi, sauna and outdoor hot tub access are free.

Easy check-in, quick wapp response to question. Very new building, so everything still nice and new. Room was of a good size, everything was very clean. Comfortable beds, great shower. Room has outside door which leads onto a patio. Nice views outside of the mountains and also some horses nearby. Very big and clean shared kitchen area, that also includes a sitting area with couches. Great location, very near Gullfoss waterfall. We did not use the kitchen for dinner, only for breakfast, and it had everything we needed. We were the only guests which made for a lovely quiet stay.

The communication from booking and right through our stay was brilliant from Dmitrii and Ögmundur. The cabin itself is gorgeous and the location is perfect. It’s located next to a restaurant but yet still isolated enough to enjoy your own company. The hot tub while surround by snow is surreal. I cannot fault this property one bit. We will be back and have been sharing the property details with our friends and families since we returned home.
