Cosy, comfortable, clean, modern , super well equiped ( mini fridge , welcome room to make your own drink at any time , self checking in and out, shower/hand gel & shampoo generously provided , AC easy to use and to set up, very good size room, good wifi , reactive and helpful manager) and located , right in the center and next to public transports. Loved the little welcoming attentions with chocolate/biscuits and the beautiful clean and parfumed smell of the bedding!!! Excellent value for money!

At the guest house, every unit is equipped with bed linen and towels. Excellent value. The room was good size, very comfortable, it came with a fridge and a desk. There was also a small but cute balcony. Both the room and the bathroom were very clean. I even got sweets on arrival and checkout, which was a very thoughtful touch! Free coffee (including fresh milk) is provided. Location couldn't be better, super close to the old city. Check in instructions were very clear. Would definitely stay again.

Attractively set in the East Jerusalem district of Jerusalem, St Thomas Guesthouse - Jerusalem is situated 1.3 km from Western Wall, 4.2 km from Holyland Model of Jerusalem and 8.6 km from Rachel's Tomb. Boasting a shared lounge, the hotel is close to several noted attractions, around 1.7 km from Garden of Gethsemane, 1.7 km from Church of All Nations and 1.3 km from Dome of the Rock. Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Mediterranean breakfast was filling and satisfying. the rooms were cleaned daily. for the money it is great value and very affordable. It is a residence attached to the Chapel of St. Thomas, where I daily visited. they make anyone welcome and Catholics in particular would like the images and statues around the building. You can get a cold beer at half the restaurant price up until midnight and nearby is the Olive Restaurant that serves meals even on the Sabbath at very reasonable prices and insist on the menu listed price to get the best price. That saved a lot of time and money.. If you do not insist on the menu price,, they add 30% for some reason. Across the road is St. Stephen's church where they have Mass daily. The church is wonderful. Mass the is not to be missed, even if it is in French. 300 metres down the road is the Damascus Gate, entry to the Old City. From there everything in the Old City is walkable, and I am 74 years young. the air conditioning was great and very quiet. At breakfast I got to meet various people and made friends. Saving the best to last, ALL the staff are wonderful and friendly and do all they can to make your stay comfortable. Nothing was a problem for the staff. No other place had that Syrian Church. . I asked for a refrigerator in my room and they responded immediately assuring me there is one. If not, ask for it because you need it to keep drinks and ingredients to make lunches. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else. Around the corner shops sell snacks and drinks and the first automatic teller has cheap fees. It is not far to the train station and the train is one straight line that takes you to many places including the city center. People on the front desk happily helps with bus queries. It was far beyond expectations for the price and location. I cannot think of anywhere else to stay.

William's Guest House is a home away from home in the old city of Jerusalem. Located close to the Ethiopian Church, right within the cobbled alleyways which mark the historic city, the accommodation combines modern facilities with an old world environment which is only to be understood by experience. The house itself is old style, stone walls, wrought iron rails, old pictures and wooden furniture which breathes another world. The room was clean, comfortable, modern. The kitchen is open access with 24 hour tea and coffee. Breakfast stuff is in the fridge and you make it yourself per convenience. On an early day, we packed our own breakfast, on another day we left early then returned for a late breakfast- very convenient. You can warm up your own meal or make eggs if you wish. Lovely shops, cafes and eateries around. We arrived from Tel Aviv Airport by public transport. Took the train into Jerusalem central bus station, then line 1 to Damascus Gate stop. Short walk from there. We did not have much luggage, so this was very doable. Check in was smooth. We called William on the doorbell, were allowed into the courtyard. He arrived promptly to hand over keys and explain arrangements. On day out, we simply left keys in the house. He was contactable when needed but we had our own privacy in the space. Everything is walkable in the old city. A Jerusalem experience is incomplete without staying in here. William's guesthouse is a perfect option.

I wake up every morning with chirp of birds. I had a couple of problems to solve during my stay and the host Vicky and her beautiful family helped me in every possible way. I'm grateful for their kind attitude.

This is our second time staying here and we will always book here whenever we are in Jerusalem.
