Location was perfect, the bed was so comfy and the facilities were great. The added touch of providing toys for our little one was so thoughtful.

The Rooms At Firecastle is set in Kildare's market square, overlooking St Brigid's Cathedral. The property offers an onsite bakery, an artisan grocery store and a take away breakfast and lunch served daily. The view of the cathedral was just stunning. The rooms were gorgeous and very comfortable and much more spacious that elsewhere I stayed in Europe and the UK. I wish I'd had longer. I really didn't want to leave.

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. The room was lovely and big, bathroom was huge, down a few steps but no problem to us. We had asked for a room with a bath and they had no problem doing this. 3 of us in 1 room but they had 3 of everything. Breakfast was perfect and a really good selection. Staff were so nice.

This family-run guest house has rooms with good-quality beds, mattress hygiene care and tea/coffee making facilities. There is also a comfortable sitting room for guests to relax in. The place was so beautifully decorated, they left the room really nice and prepared for us. The hosts where so flexible at all times and really understanding of our needs.

Absolutely stunning, cosy welcoming house, lovingly decorated to a very high standard. We stayed in "Shergar" and it was a beautiful room with an extremely comfortable bed which truth be told we were loathe to leave, The bathroom was lovely and spacious with a great shower. We only stayed for one night but would be delighted to return again.

Boasting a restaurant, bar and free WiFi, The Coach House is set in Roundwood, 11 km from Glendalough Monastery and 15 km from National Garden Exhibition Centre. The property is around 17 km from Powerscourt House & Gardens, 19 km from Wicklow Gaol and 20 km from Brayhead. The Square Tallaght is 33 km away and RDS Arena is 36 km from the inn. We hiked all day on Glendolough and returned to the Coach House for dinner. We did not expect the excellent food we were served in the restaurant. Our dining experience after a full day of travel and exertion was the highlight of my stay! Getting up for breakfast was also a beautiful culinary surprise. The food during our stay was excellent. We also liked browsing the gifts and keepsakes downstairs.

At the guest house, all units are equipped with bed linen and towels. Marvellous Spot with a Wonderful Host. Close to Everything and the place was Spotless. I would Highly Recommend Johnsville House to any visitor to Carlow Town. Magic !!!
