All the persons working here made our stay very special, making music at night and playing cardgames with the kids. The food also was delicious. We did three different excursions (village tour, jungle trek for 2 days and bat cave) and everything was very well organized. Also from the moment you make the reservation, there is a very good contact with the host for all your questions. We definitely want to return one day.

A very, very helpful staff will help you with all your questions. After leaving my card in the ATM, they took me to the city, waited for over an hour with me, then took me to another bank. I took up the entire morning of two people and their car due to my stupidity and just a tip was sufficient. It just feels so good to be helped like that. You just don't get that where I'm from. A clean and calm place to escape the busyness of Medan and I can recommend Bua to be your starting and exit point to beautiful Sumatra.

Let me stay in a slightly more expensive room inside without paying the difference and got a ride back to the guesthouse from the city center at night. I wasn’t there for long but definitely felt it was a good deal for the price. It is pretty far from the center of butik lawang. You can walk it in 20min or get a tuktuk for 30rp. The walk is nice. You get to see another side to the area.
