The family who run Mocca are amazing they booked our trip to Mount Ijen, picked us up from the train station and organised our transport to Denpasar airport in Bali. The rooms are very big with a comfy big bed and a really nice modern bathroom. The breakfast is also great and they even made us a packed breakfast to take with us when we had to leave at 4am for the airport. Cannot recommend this place enough!!! 😊

The gardens are lush, the river is clean and the area is so spiritual and relaxing. We spent so much time at the pool swimming, reading, meditating. The owners are so lovely. Marc taught us many things about Java and about life. We appreciated his conversations. Happy to call them friends. Special shout out to young Rico!!! The chef of the house!! Amazing home cooked meals, the best we’ve had in our trip through Indonesia. Thank you Rico you smashed it and you have a great future ahead.

At Pondok Is Oke Bamboo Lodge, the traditional restaurant is open for dinner, lunch and brunch and specialises in local cuisine. Everything was amazing!! The accomodation was cozy and beautiful, but the best part of this accomodation is the owners, they are absolutely amazing so helpful and kind. Putri helps you with everything you could ever want from books tours, transport, driver, etc. Thanks so much!!!

The guest house has family rooms. Great location! Thanks to our amazing host, we were able to walk up to Bromo and Mt. Batok just as we wanted, avoiding the crowds and groups. Davi was wonderful—he gave us the best tips to explore the area, and we enjoyed unforgettable hikes with stunning sunset and sunrise views. The room was comfortable, with a hot shower—everything we needed. We definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a more authentic experience. For meals, we had lunch and dinner on a beautiful terrace just a few minutes’ walk from the homestay.
