Smelt of stunning lavender the time of year we went, was lovely. Statigrad was actually much nicer than Hvar port for chilled vibes and great food (in our view) and this place was the perfect rest spot.

The staff was very responsive via Whatsapp. The location was away from the noise, but still close enough to walk to the town (20 min). It was also, as close as possible to a beautiful beach. The property had gorgeous olive and fig trees, with grape vines all around. I very much enjoyed my 5 day stay!

The host Kristina was lovely, she has even texted me excellent recommendations of what to do in Hvar. The apartment was perfect for one person, I guess even for two would still be perfect as it’s quite spacious. Looking brand new, looks like has been recently renovated. Shower worked perfectly with great water prssure and temperature, aircon also working perfectly, great location and view from the balcony, just 5 minutes walk from main square. I would definitely stay at this apartment again when back in Hvar.

Loved the location, the history, the facilities and the support from Christina. The views to the fortress were amazing.

It looked exactly like the photos. The sheets and bed were super comfortable. The parking lot is nearby (a 6-minute walk). You’ll need to go up a few stairs to the apartment, but the view from the apartment is absolutely worth it. Speaking of the view… WOW! It’s magical just sitting there, enjoying the moment. Even though the apartment is across from a small port, the noise wasn’t an issue at all. The soundproof windows help, especially if you’re a light sleeper like me. In fact, I slept like a rock the entire stay! We truly felt at home. Marija is an incredible host. The check-in, check-out, and parking all went smoothly thanks to her clear instructions and assistance. She’s easy to communicate with, friendly, responsive, helpful, and above all, kind. On our last day, my husband had to go to the ER due to food poisoning. It was a long night, and finding another place to stay for his recovery would’ve been difficult. Even though she had another guest arriving, Marija kindly arranged for us to stay one extra night so he could rest before our long journey home. There are things in life we simply can’t thank enough. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Marija! You and your lovely home will not be forgotten. We’ll definitely miss Jelsa and hope to return soon for another wonderful, relaxing vacation. P.S. Don’t hesitate to purchase the dried lavender and lavender oil available at the apartment. They’re among the best I’ve ever bought. Perfect for a relaxing bath and a beautiful reminder of this magical place.
