Zapote Tree Inn is located less than 16 minutes from Flores' airport and 4 minutes away from Flores island by boat, located at a privileged point to appreciate sunsets and sunrises overlooking the... Erick was really welcoming, responsive, and attentive to our needs and situation. Always ready to help and give good advice. The place is quiet, nice and has a nice view over Flores Island and the lake. You get to the hotel thanks to a small boat and the ones you take to get there and leave are free (otherwise it's 10Q per person until 10:00pm). Around the hotel there's a viewpoint, a beach and a small archeological site. For the rest you always have to take a small boat. Nice room, hot shower.

The place is very clean and the bed was comfy. There is an awesome rooftop area with lake view and kitchen. Appreciated the AC in the room a lot since it was really hot outside. Text the host prior to your arrival so he can give you the keys, since there was no reception during our stay. He's very responsive, so it was no problem at all. They just talk to you like you are their friend. Loved that! The hostel is very cozy, and has an amazing terrace/bar with a view of the lake. Very affordable drinks. Has enough bathrooms/showers. It's clean and we'll stocked with toilet paper/soap. There are shelves in the room, which helps when you pack. Someone is always at the reception and the entry door is always locked.
