Situated less than 1 km from Asteria Beach, Oisyra Hotel in Ermoupoli features rooms with air conditioning and free WiFi. The Miaouli Square is within 300 metres of the guest house. From the moment we arrived on a delayed ferry after 11 pm and Dimitris was waiting for us in the corner of the street with a big smile, we knew we had made the right decision to stay at his hotel. Actually we had planned to stay only 2 nights and move somewhere else, but right away we decided to stay the entire 5 nights here.This used to be his grandfather's home, which has been lovingly transformed into a 12-room small family run hotel on 3 floors in the heart of beautiful Ermoupoli. The ample rooms are tastefully furnished, have comfortable beds and linens, and have a modern bathroom with plenty of hot water. The location is perfect, just a couple of blocks from the main square and the harbor, accessible to everything in the city and a free bus to beautiful Ano Syros. The room was daily cleaned with a change of linens (if you wish, we don't since we're trying to save the planet). Our room was facing a small street with a bougainvillea spilling thru the window. We felt at home right away and would love to come back to Syros and to Oisyra Hotel. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

On the traditional, ground-floor courtyard shaded by vine pergolas guests can have their drink and enjoy the views over Mykonos and Delos Island. A shared lounge with a TV and a computer for free use are offered. The location of the accommodation was in the perfect area close to restaurants, cafes, and the main centre. George, our host gave us recommendations to restaurants which all were fantastic and places to see on the island and the best way to get there! The room was clean and spacious with great views. Will definitely stay again!

Neorion Shipyards is 800 metres from the guest house, while Miaouli Square is 300 metres from the property. Syros Island National Airport is 3 km away. The location is superb, close to all services but in a quiet area; the hotel itself is in a renovated neo-classical building with lovely high ceilings and beautifully tiled floors. The rooms are spacious and luminous, the beds equipped with mattresses that are very comfortable, with good support but a soft feel. I really liked the furnishings, which were simple in traditional Greek style. There is a nice wardrobe, a desk, and a bedside table providing drawer space. The bathrooms are new and roomy, with a generously-sized shower stall and good water pressure coming from the shower nozzle. I didn't hear any noise from the room next door.
