The room was supper comfortable and clean. We stayed for 1 night and had a very good rest before our flight.

It’s in an excellent location—just a short walk to the center of Fira—making it super convenient for shopping and dining. 3. We also loved the private swimming pool just outside our room! It was the perfect place to relax, soak in the cool water, and enjoy the warmth of the Mediterranean sun.

Gianna Suites is built in the traditional style of Santorini Island and offers comfortable rooms with private balconies and flat-screen, satellite TV. Some units have a spa bath or a shower with hydromassage facilities. Gianna Suites was easily walkable from both Fira and Firostefani but was located on a side street off the other side of the main road and therefore was quiet and peaceful, with lovely views out to the sea and flatter areas of Santorini. So it was also easily walkable to those areas as well. I especially loved the little private balcony which was warm and sunny and brought refreshing air inside. The hosts were exceptionally engaging and welcoming, offering a genuine sense of hospitality and organising tour and trip arrangements with sincere helpfulness. The drivers were also very engaging and genuine. Santorini, as a whole, treats visitors with great politeness. As an older, solo traveller, I felt safe and respected. I greatly appreciated their cheerful and honest responses, and also the self-respect and respect for Santorini that they showed. I value the authenticity which greeted me.

A car rental service is available at the guest house. The location is superb, right at the port. The owners are incredibly nice people and hard at work to give you a good experience. It is a family property that goes back over 100 years, I am told. It has the feel of a very old place and that may turn some people off. But it was no issue for us. We loved being here and having some wonderful conversations with the owners. They are very good people!
