Porto Vecchio is perfectly located at the very beginning of the Old Town, with everything the city has to offer within a two-minute walk: markets, an excellent ice cream shop, the promenade along the port with numerous restaurants, and narrow streets full of charming shops and views. The area is cozy and lively, capturing the true spirit of Chania’s historic center. Our room was simply delightful. Despite its relatively small size, it was exceptionally well-organized and equipped with everything we needed: an ironing board and iron, plates neatly tucked in drawers, cups, mugs, and a coffee machine. The balcony was small and without a view, but it was perfect for sitting in the evenings and soaking up the sounds of the city. In case of rain, there is no protection, so a plexiglass screen instead of the straw mat could improve comfort for the cushions and anyone sitting there. The view from the window was truly remarkable. We overlooked a narrow street with a beautiful view of the Centre of Traditional Folk Art and Culture, right across from the property. Leaning out of the window, people waved at me, thinking I was a local resident — I waved back, and it was such a charming and memorable experience. Chania can be busy and noisy, and many visitors often mention nightlife with loud music until late hours. Here, however, there are no nightclubs nearby, so although there is pedestrian traffic, we never heard loud music or disruptive noise — it was peaceful and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and well-appointed, and the provided toiletries were of excellent quality. The property offers an easy and flexible check-in with a code for the intercom and a room key card. We were also able to leave our luggage in a secure area after checkout, which made departure hassle-free. The owner was incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring everything went smoothly throughout our stay.

Great location in the city center. The property is very clean and modern. Our bathroom was enormous, almost half the apartment, with two showers and a home sauna where you can play music via bluetooth. The bedroom was very spacious. The apartment also had a coffee machine with capsules that make very good coffee. Overall, the place really surprised us.

The village itself is quiet and charming, set in the mountains, and the whole experience—from the hotel to the taverna and the wonderful host—was just perfect. From the start, we felt very welcomed. We were helped with our luggage to the third floor, and it felt like we were given one of the best rooms, with a stunning view of the mountains. The room was spacious, beautifully renovated, with elegant furniture and thoughtful design—it was clear a lot of care went into creating such a comfortable space. Everything was spotless, fresh, and bright, from the bedroom to the bathroom. We also ate at the taverna that belongs to the hotel, and the food was absolutely delicious. The owner is such a kind, helpful person—he gave us great advice on routes and places to visit, and it was truly a pleasure to meet him. We loved everything about our stay and honestly didn’t want to leave.

Location was perfect, The room was clean. Also we didn't have any problem with the parking even at a high season date like the one we booked the room. Also, even though its located on a street with a lot of traffic( at least in August) the room we didnt have any issues with the noise in the room ,which was minimal.
