The food was incredibly delicious and the rooms were very clean. The shower was spotless, and unlike most other places, there was a proper shower cabin and a hairdryer — which made a real difference. It was the only night we didn’t feel cold during the whole trip — the heater worked perfectly and kept the room warm and cozy. But what really set this place apart was the hosts. They were incredibly sweet, friendly, and polite. We had asked for Khinkali in advance, and it was absolutely delicious. They kept checking in to see if we wanted more tea or coffee. Even though we hadn’t arranged breakfast, they still prepared one for us — including some amazing local specialties, which they kindly offered us to taste. Although the location might seem a bit far, they offer pick-up from the end of the hiking route and drop-off at the starting point the next day, which was super helpful. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend it to others.

The hosts were very hospitable, the room was clean with adequate heater, tye bathroom had plenty of hot water. There is also a kitchen with coffee and tea. All this for a great price.

We took a wrong way and were stuck in the small rough village road and got lost. The owner showed up and drived us to his guest house. Actually the house is at the upper side of the village and the drive way is much better and easy to go. The day after, my friend had a leg bone broken, again the owner came to meet us at the glacier and arranged the ambulance and rescuers. He's so genuine and did everything for us. We are deeply moved by his kind support. BTW, the house is neat with a kitchen, the food his mother made is great. Its location is a plus, just a few metres away from the church where you'll have a great view of the sunset. We definitely will choose to stay here again.

The Georgian breakfast was absolutely amazing, with a wide selection of fresh, authentic dishes that were full of flavor. It was not only delicious but also excellent value, setting a high standard each morning. Dinner was also memorable, with beautifully prepared meals that highlighted local flavors. The wine was exceptional and complemented the food perfectly. What truly stood out, however, was the hospitality. The staff were incredibly warm, honest, and genuinely friendly, creating an atmosphere that felt welcoming and authentic throughout the entire stay.
