This hotel is set in the stunning Mayfield Valley amid picturesque countryside on the edge of the Peak District. The Norfolk Arms, Ringinglow is a historic Grade II-listed coaching inn. Well located with beautiful views. Staff friendly and helpful. Large, very well priced, family room for couple with two small children (a king+ double bed plus two pull out full size trundle beds for children). Plenty of free parking. Alpaca and small animal farm around the corner for children. Nice Ales and Ciders on tap. Family menus.

Very informative about various tourist attractions to visit close by the location and showed me everything I needed to make my stay comfortable. He helped me get to the location of the house from the train station and back after my stay. This helped to ease my stress of having to find and book a taxi in the cold weather. Train station is also not far from the house by car which is good. I highly recommend this guest house.

Surrounded by miles of peaceful countryside, this 19th-century listed building offers old-fashioned charm alongside modern comforts, home-cooked local food and local beers and ales. Loved the breakfast. Fresh food. Well prepared food. Could not ask for a more varied list on the menu. Location was easily found. Just minutes from Chatsworth. Every employee smiled and said Hello or Good morning.

The Star Hotel is THE friendliest accommodation I've ever stayed in. They couldn't do enough for me, and the biggest bonus was a disco the first night, then, on the second night, a live band. Best place ever. All the staff super friendly and helpful, plus all the patrons made this Southener very welcome indeed. The room was exceptionally clean, and I honestly couldn't fault it at all. Parking was great too.
