I really enjoyed the fresh fruit (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, kiwi & apple) & plain yogurt. She also cooked great poached eggs & cereal was appreciated. One morning I had salmon & eggs and it was yummy. I failed to mention she had nuts & dried fruit to put on the yogurt…..lots of good choices. My room & bathroom were a good size and the bed very comfortable. I enjoyed my walks from the B&B to the town centre (exploring) & taking the bus to Bakewell and Haddon Hall were fun for a day. I'm so pleased I chose the Square and Compass and I'm greatly looking forward to my next stay. Very highly recommended!

The property and room were spotlessly clean and room was spacious, light and airy. There was a decent size bathroom with shower in the room I had Close by and within walking distance to local shops and tram/bus services. I had an amazing breakfast; plenty to choose from to eat and drink, as well as a cooked English breakfast. Thank you for your lovely hospitality.

Very comfortable room and beds in a great location! The hosts were very helpful and welcoming. It is obvious they love hosting and think of all the details to make your stay comfortable.
