The room was in a great location just a few minutes walk to the centre and the harbour. It was good to have off steet parking right by the entrance. The room was very comfortable with a large bed, a tea/coffee area and fridge, a smart TV and a fantastically hot and large shower! The tunnocks and milk were a lovely touch and it was nice to have low level lamps and not just bright overhead lights like a lot of rooms. It was below zero when we stayed and snow outside but the room was very toasty! We will definitely book again next time we're up.

Refrigerator for guests in breakfast room. Within walking distance of town center.

It is set 44 km from Huntly Castle and offers a housekeeping service. The guest house has family rooms. Such a beautiful historic home and continues to be a great place to stay. The owners are particularly generous with their time and attention to detail. With my visit being in Winter I was happy to see I had electrical blankets on the beds. Showers had an abundance of hot water and the home was decorated lovely for Christmas. Breakfast choices were varied and super coffee being served. Complimentary bottles of water and snack bars and chocolates also in abundance.

The room was spacious but cozy and the bed was comfortable.

The breakfast the following morning was delicious, filling and enjoyed in the company of other guests, who were almost as charming as Pete, the owner. Pete was a gregarious and personable host, who took time to listen to us and ensure that our stay went beyond our expectations. We will visit Kilmorie House again.

Housed in a building dating from 19th century, this guest house is 26 km from Hilton Community Centre and 26 km from Aberdeen Harbour. The property is non-smoking and is set 9.2 km from Newburgh on Ythan Golf Club. The host was amazing! He offered to drive us to Brewdog Factory, so that we did not have to worry about the logistics of public transport. We greatly appreciated the kindness. Everything else was boringly perfect (that's a good thing), nothing to complain. Food was good, place was clean, free parking on premises next to the room.

Mary and James couldn't be more hospitable and made us feel very welcome in their beautiful home. The pool is an amazing feature and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute there. Thanks again
