We hadn’t initially booked breakfasts, but were glad we changed our mind on arrival … superb! Couldn’t fault the accommodation either, and we’d definitely stay there again if we’re back in Ballater.

Clean room, cozy vibe, everything well organized and presented as what is described online. Super breakfast, definitely a highlight of the stay! The portion of breakfast is very generous. According to our nice host Bryan, not many people can finish a whole portion of certain cooked dishes, which triggered my ego to eat more than I should have, 😂 😂

Providing free private parking, the 3-star guest house is 49 km from University of the Highlands and Islands, Inverness. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Very close to the train station and walking distance to Aviemore. Did not get the chance to use the hot tub, but the sauna was a nice bonus especially in December. The room was very comfortable and the hosts are wonderful! The breakfast is better than anything you would get at a hotel. I would stay here again next time I am in Aviemore.

Spacious parking and close to restaurants and supermarkets. The place was charming and the room was on the smaller side but comfortable enough. The breakfast was superb and cooked on request - great full scottish breakfast and pancakes with smoked salmon! All the staff was very helpful and friendly.
