We hadn’t initially booked breakfasts, but were glad we changed our mind on arrival … superb! Couldn’t fault the accommodation either, and we’d definitely stay there again if we’re back in Ballater.

The property features inner courtyard and quiet street views, and is less than 1 km from Highland Folk Museum. Outdoor seating allows guests to enjoy the fresh air. Clean room, cozy vibe, everything well organized and presented as what is described online. Super breakfast, definitely a highlight of the stay! The portion of breakfast is very generous. According to our nice host Bryan, not many people can finish a whole portion of certain cooked dishes, which triggered my ego to eat more than I should have, 😂 😂

Easy location just off the A9 (literally a 2 minute drive). Approximately 50 miles south from inverness. Beautiful house and gardens with plenty of bird life and red squirrels. Lovely quiet location despite being near the A9 which you cannot hear. I had a large room (I stayed in the Stag room) which had a king size canopied four poster bed. A large ensuite bathroom with a bath and shower over bath arrangement. Spotlessly clean. The premises are licensed so you can enjoy a glass of wine or a dram from the drinks menu. Everywhere, was spotlessly clean. The host was amazing and engaging and cooks delicious breakfasts to order from the menu.which you decide on the night before. You can also arrange for an evening meal (sadly didn't order this option as I arrived fairly late in the evening) Scenery is fantastic with some falls you cross via a small bridge to drive to the house. Fabulous host. Beautiful location. Great value.

Located 13 km from Boat of Garten Golf Club, Ardlogie Guest House offers accommodation in Aviemore with access to a hot tub. Providing free private parking, the 3-star guest house is 49 km from University of the Highlands and Islands, Inverness. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Very close to the train station and walking distance to Aviemore. Did not get the chance to use the hot tub, but the sauna was a nice bonus especially in December. The room was very comfortable and the hosts are wonderful! The breakfast is better than anything you would get at a hotel. I would stay here again next time I am in Aviemore.

Within the Cairngorms National Park, it is just 10 minutes’ walk from Aviemore Railway Station. The room was clean and cosy. Equipped with everything you need. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, the best I've had at a B&B. The owner and staff were very friendly and welcoming too. The owner was nice enough to allow us to self-check in at a later time than the usual check-in times. The view of the mountains out the room window was beautiful. Very convenient location, too.
