He welcomed us warmly and even took us on a wonderful walk through the stunning forests behind the chalet, sharing engaging conversations along the way. His attention to detail is remarkable—he creates an enchanting atmosphere with ice lanterns lining the driveway, adding a magical touch to the evenings. He’s incredibly thoughtful, giving helpful tips and alerting us when the northern lights were visible. If you're looking for the ultimate Finnish getaway, with breathtaking nature, a dark-sky location for northern lights viewing, and a cozy, well-equipped chalet, Guest House Koskenkylä is the perfect choice. We couldn’t recommend it more!

Although the location was somewhat remote, there were forests and other places nearby to explore. The landlord even provided a small sled, which was adorable.
