The decor is accurate, but if you don't like animals (dogs and cats), you'd better go elsewhere. For me, who love them and went there with my dog, it was a beautiful experience that I would repeat. Great location on a quiet street only a few minutes walk from the center, comfortable room (ceiling fan was enough in summer), nice bed, good shower and clean room, nicely stocked common area, helpful staff. My room code didn't work at first, but it was quickly resolved.

Alcove and walls were full of old artefacts and paintings. It had been a plantation in the past but water shortages have changed that. They grow as much fruit as they can for guests. We stayed in the top-floor apartment with a terrace, and it was simply amazing. Natural and authentic. There’s a stunning mountain view and even a small glimpse of the ocean. About a 15-minute walk from the house, there’s a clean, quiet beach where hardly anyone goes. The host, Ms. Luz, is incredibly sweet, always around and ready to help with anything.
