Everything you need while walking the Camino; modern room with outlets near the bed, nice bathroom with hooks for the towels, great shower, heat works great, cafe on site, opens at 7 am, grocery store on site, with plenty of options, and if you don’t feel like going to the nearby restaurant to eat, there is a microwave, and the cafe will give you places and silverware. Friendly staff, highly recommended.

Incredibly convenient location. The room was brand new and spotlessly clean. Everything we could have needed was on hand. The supply of coffee pods and breakfast snacks was a real bonus. One of my nerdy favourite features was the ability to unlock my room using my phone.

Fantastic value for money. A perfect stop off point if you're traveling from North to South of Spain and need somewhere in the middle. Juan was even kind enough to put my motorcycle into his garage overnight as the train was horrendous. Comfy bed, great breakfast dinner in the bar adjacent was great. We loved this place for the greenery and the shaded patio areas especially in this high temperature heat! The staff are very attentive and helpful! MariCarmen is very sweet and Jose very knowledgeable. The restaurant is just a delight to have a beautiful comida or cena or just to hand out with tapas. Their breakfast is very fulfilling. They have a pool that ideal to cool down in this dreaded heat. Really enjoyed this place.

Our second stay here at this fabulous Castillo and it won’t be our last (hopefully!). A truly magnificent and atmospheric castle, loaded with history, but also modern day comforts like great heating, hot water and wifi. We splashed out on the Presidential Suite this time and it was definitely worth it. Great views out of the windows, very good shower and a comfortable bed. We were driving from Bilbao to Tarifa and it made the perfect half way stop over. No suppers provided but a grand old kitchen you are welcome to use to cook up your own food. Plus help yourself to breakfast in the morning. Easy, safe parking for our large van. We loved it - 10/10 Thank you
