We had a great stay in Mango. The staff is so helpful and welcoming. The dog Bobby is super welcoming and friendly as well. The hotel is super clean (the cleanest guesthouse we have been to in Aswan). The breakfast was yummy and served on the roof. They helped us with a late checkout by giving us an unbooked room till 3pm.

Everything! It was the most perfect stay. Bibo & his family made us feel right at home, clean & comfortable guesthouse, minutes walk from the beach, safe island to walk around (as two girls), all our breakfasts/dinners were made fresh by Bibos mum. Bibo can organise anything - we got airport transfer, laundry & boat to the Nubian village.

Where to start? We felt so at home here. Mustafa and his family have been nothing than warm, helpful and kind to us. We were genuinely sad to leave. The location on Elephantine island is great, ca. 7 minute walk by foot from the public ferry, the view on the river Nile with the passing boats and all the birds is so picturesque and an absolute dream. The room was spotlessly clean, the beds comfortable and the breakfast made with love and very tasty and suitable for vegetarians. We spoke a lot with Mustafa and he and his nephew Hamada helped us with organising trips (e.g. to Abu Simbel or a felucca ride - that we could not do in the end bc of too much wind, but Hamada was kind enough to take us around by motorboat). The people living on the island are friendly and welcoming and this has really been the best stay in Egypt so far. Highly recommend and thank you Mustafa and family!

The comunication, the room itself its pretty good and good looking, it have everything to be comfortable. The owner helped me to arrange transportation and tours to Abu simbel, Asuan and Luxor in good cars and with good drivers, all polite and puntual. Very recommended place.

We stayed one night at Osiris Guest House to visit the temple Abu Simbel. The host Ashraf is very welcoming and accommodating. We got a home cooked dinner, which was absolutely delicious. The rooms were small but the cleanest we stayed in during our Egypt trip. The guest house is in walking distance to the temple and Ashraf accompanied us to the ticket office in the morning. Thank you!

Trips to Aswan, as known, are not the easiest to organise due to the scarcity of transport alternatives and the frequent train delays. They are not easy unless you have a local friend to help you and take care of you. Ahmed did this for me, he followed me all the way from Luxor to better organize my arrival. My train (which was supposed to arrive at 10pm), was delayed and arrived at 1am. Ahmed waited for me until that time, spoke on the phone to the taxi driver to explain where to take me and arranged a boat for me to ferry me to the island, even though the ferries don't work at that time. The island is so cute, I have to go to see it again because it is unimaginably delicious. When he welcomed me upon my arrival, we stopped to have a chat on the balcony overlooking the Nile. Not seen in the distance, it is there in front of a few meters illuminated by the lights of the city but far from its chaos. When he accompanied me to my room I was amazed: I never imagined such a beautiful room for such a low price! Not very large but spacious, with two large beds with well-supporting mattresses, as I like, pure white sheets, window with view, very quiet air conditioning and ceiling fan. The bathroom is huge and stocked with soaps, shampoos, towels and toilet paper. The first thing you notice when entering is that everything is brand new and very clean, far above the standard so far...

A great laid back place to stay on the West Bank, close to the public ferry and the tombs of the nobles. The facilities are new and clean. The owners and his family are super hospitable. We also ordered lunch which was delicious. No regretting we have chosen the place and we will definitely come back.
