I have stayed for 2 nights in the starlight hostel and I absolutely enjoyed it! The hostel is located in the beautiful village of the Quilotoa Loop. The view from the hostel is just stunning, the food delicious, the blankets are warm, the owners and workers such nice people. I absolutely recommend you to stay there to see how the sunset lights the mountains and clouds come to the valley. Gracias por el lugar tan hermoso!

Located in Isinliví, Hostal Taita Cristobal offers accommodation with seating area. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. The guest house also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. We are still blown away by this hostal. It was so nice to arrive and see this amazing view, and chill in the hammock while having tea and reading. Nice and big chilling area downstairs. The rooms are big, the breakfast was outstanding. When they serve the dinner, everyone comes to the table and talks about the hike and their journey. Everything was perfect. Just book it!

Additional in-room amenities include wine or champagne and fruits. The room was a lovely, spacious and comfortable so was great value for money. The main attraction of this hostel however and what sets it apart from other hostels is the people who work there. They will make an incredible effort to make you feel welcome and part of their wonderful family. Maria is also an excellent cook so you will receive a lovely breakfast and dinner and will make you a packed lunch for the next day on request. I couldn’t recommend this hostel more to anyone looking for an authentic and wholesome stay with some lovely people.

They offer a good breakfast, and there’s an excellent restaurant just a 5-minute walk away with stunning views of the Cotopaxi volcano.

Guests at the guest house can enjoy an American breakfast. At Hostel Tierra de Fuego, the family-friendly restaurant is open for dinner and serves American cuisine. We stayed at this hostel before and after hiking to the summit of Cotopaxi :) the owner is really helpful to organize such a trip, he has all the equipment and the experience is really good price. We enjoyed our stay!

Hosteria Alpaka Quilotoa in Quilotoa provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge. This 2-star guest house offers a 24-hour front desk and a shared kitchen. The guest house also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. María and her husband run the hotel. They were lovely from the beginning to the end. She is a very gifted chef and will cook delicious meals for you while you stay there. Quilotoa itself seems to be going through a boom of people opening hostels and restaurants, we visited during low season and hence it seemed that the town was half empty. Prices are ridiculous cheap for what you can get. Our room had a king size bed, a little fireplace that warmed us through the night and a private bathroom with boiling water- everything that you can wish after a good day of hike. While in there we hiked Quilotoa rim, but also did the short hike to the bottom of the crater and back. All free hikes. Highly recommended to visit and to stay in this hostal. It’s conveniently place right by the entry of the town.

An absolutely stunning old historical building with great views from the roof. This is a proper hotel, rather than a hostel (their hostel-hostel is in the basement), so no real kitchen access, but the staff is lovely and the accomodations are super clean and comfy. I was in the 6-bed dorm (this is the only dorm which is in the upstairs hotel portion rather than in the hostel area), and it was great.
