Great spacious room with fast internet, great shower with hot water, coffee maker and fridge. The balcony was nice as well and the guest house is close to restaurants and bars. We’ve been coming to Las Terrenas for 20 years and have experienced quite a few accommodations. This year was our first stay at "Casa Barbara". The property is away from the noise and, with only three bungalows, it's peaceful and clearly arranged. Drinking water is automatically refilled by the host and not charged. Electricity, internet, and hot water are stable. Even though the beach is only a 5-minute walk away, the pool is a great alternative on cloudy days. There are plenty of shaded lounging and seating areas, and coffee and cold water are also available by the pool. The cleaning lady does an excellent job. The kitchen is very well equipped by Dominican hotel standards—we didn’t miss a thing during our two-week stay. After this experience, Casa Barbara will be the only place we stay.

The apartment was great, spacious and clean. There was this cute balcony where we had breakfast. The hot tub was a nice feature as well. We could use the kitchen to prepare quick meals and they provided drinking water. The host was a very nice Italian man, always with a smile on his face.
