This historic hotel in Rothenburg ob der Tauber is just 100 metres away from the Sankt Jakob church. It offers rooms with wooden décor, free Wi-Fi, and typical Franconian food. This hotel was magical! I can’t say enough!!! The restaurant was delicious, service friendly and wonderful, super clean and so inviting. The decor made you feel like you were in a German fairy tale. We absolutely loved it, it’s like staying in someone’s home, not a hotel, and that’s honestly what made it even more special. You can drive up to the hotel to unload your car then park right outside the city wall. Parking area 5. Be sure to have at least one breakfast, it’s different every morning and was included with your stay!

Hotel is located just off the main road, with parking nearby to load/unload which I would recommend. It's a little far to walk over the cobblestones if you have heavy luggage. Parking bay is easy to get to from there. Staff were great, they offer a decent breakfast which is charged additionally. Would stay again.

It has a very zen vibe and loads of places to relax and be comfortable. The host was very friendly and the place is spotless. The beds are also very comfortable. The rooms are very spacious. Waking up to birdsong in the morning. The accommodation is away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it is an oasis of calm.
