It is conveniently near hiking areas, cycling paths and lakes, 10 km from the Bad Reichenhall exit of the A8 motorway, and 17 km from Salzburg. Amazing views! Very nice places to gather with friends, both indoors and outdoors. The best location from where to go on bike tours, rafting and hiking. Parking - we could leave the car at the property for 2 days while we were on cycling tour, without additional costs. Breakfast very good.

These classically decorated rooms are bright and colour, with wooden floors and wooden furnishings. Each room provides an en suite bathroom, and all rooms include a TV and some of them have balcony. Very clean, comfortable, and cozy. Front desk reception and breakfast buffet waitress were very friendly and welcoming. Easy check in and check out with parking on property. The room was spotless and quiet at night. Breakfast was fresh, nicely laid out buffet and had everything we wanted for breakfast. We highly recommend staying here.

The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The sun terrace and garden offer a beautiful view of the Zugspitz and Wetterstein mountains. It was clean and comfortable. Hosts were very welcoming. The view was amazing. Good location, very close to the train station.

Breakfast is laid out in the morning outside the room for you to help yourself. With the tax you pay the owner gives you a travel pass to use in the area. We went on the cable car to Zugspitz which was wonderful and caught the bus just down the road. Had 2 meals at Dorfbrunnen hotel (which gives massive potions!) which is 5 minutes in the car (a bit too far to walk). Would highly recommend a stay here.
