Every thing was fine. The accommodation is a little eccentric, reflecting the owner's taste. One wall was taken up with an outsize TV. Fridge, kettle, and microwave. A shower, representing something from Dr Who. The area is very quiet, only a short walk to Ratingen centre. It was basically the same as a well equipped hotel room. We liked it. If you're looking for a centre point to stay and travel around the area, this accommodation would be ideal. The photos are of the flat and Dusseldorf scenes. I must point out that Dusseldorf is renowned for its 'Alt Bier', which is similar to an English bitter. Often it's served direct from the barrel. It's delicious. I take a small Korn Schnappes with mine. The picture of the elderly couple was taken in 'Zum Urige' in Dusseldorf Altstadt. Prosit!!

I went there for the exhibition, in Messe Dusseldulf, I thought it was far but actually the common transport is very practical, the train station just 3 minutes walk far. Also there is a very good restaurant nearby, there are a lot of trees. Very lovely place. I recommend.
