Main activities are a short journey away and Arelys (the host) gave us great suggestions for places to eat in town. Arelys went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. She gave tips on the local area and even contacted our shuttle bus company that did not arrive, to confirm they were coming to pick us up. We have never had a host go so out of there way to make our stay perfect! We would 100% recommend.

It was great to be right next to the rainforest (with capuchin monkeys!) and with a nice pool to relax in.

Beautiful light, comfortable bed, absolutely marvelous host, and a stunning cook as well! Just be prepared that you will access the house via a steep gravel road just slightly outside of the main part of Santa Elena. It's good to have an SUV with good ground clearance in Monteverde and this is no different.

Mi casa es tu casa❤️ Jorge is a very friendly host who loves to see when guests feel comfortable. Every morning there was coffee and fresh fruit in the kitchen with a nice smile on his face! Our room was next to the kitchen and the kitchen was our favorite place. It was very clean and open and we liked to cook there together with other guests from all over the world. As the place is quiet remote our host helped us to rent a scooter - turned out to be a perfect way of transportation! Jorge even offered us a lift when we took an early bus. Thanks again for a wonderful time and we hope to return one day!:

The owners were so nice and accommodating, they spoke Spanish to us but slowly so we could try and understand, which was great because we were trying to practice our Spanish. The accommodation was super close to the beach which there were not many people so it was great. There was also a sloth named George in the tree out the front which was an awesome suprise! Overall a great stay!
