If you are looking for paradise, this is the place. You need to stay here! The view is breathtaking and pictures don't do justice to this place. The food was the best we had in costa rica. Yann and Kalu are really amazing and make you feel so confortable. There is nothing to improve as it is already perfect. I will recommend this place to anyone coming to costa rica.

We were two families of 4 each . We had this big house where we could fit in with a extra bed on the floor but it worked fine. You are located in the heart of a farm family owned. The owner is Hermida, a lovely lady who is helped by the whole family, her grandson who speaks english came to welcome us. You have to take the breakfast and diner there, it is like being in Sra Hermida's kitchen. You eat fresh products from the farm. It is just a lovely location and they have so much to tell you about the place. We recommend 4x4 to explore Monteverde and to get to the house but the view is amazing from your lodge. Do not hesitate

This place is beautiful and the people are very welcoming and helpful. They gave us great recs about where to eat, good view points and a mangrove tour. The room was comfortable (we booked with AC) and everything was exceptionally clean. The bathroom had hot water which is not always a given in Costa Rica. There is a very cool shared kitchen that is well equipped. We saw little monkeys right outside our room and a lot of birds and butterflies. There is a spot to park your car.

Breakfast was delicious and there were lots of options. The owners were so nice and accommodating, they spoke Spanish to us but slowly so we could try and understand, which was great because we were trying to practice our Spanish. The accommodation was super close to the beach which there were not many people so it was great. There was also a sloth named George in the tree out the front which was an awesome suprise! Overall a great stay!

Casa colores was a DELIGHTFUL place to stay. The little houses are perfect for solo travelers and equally would have been great as a couple or family. Loved lazing around in the hammock, listening to the birds. The property grounds were beautiful - its a paradise. Mercedes was wonderful and as a solo traveller, she answered my Qs kindly about the area and made sure I was comfortable. The pool is a real treat on hot days too!
