Stayed here two nights and it was a perfect relaxing spot. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed in the small kitchen. The bed is comfortable with good quality sheets and blankets. There is a TV with Netflix for the evenings and the wifi works well. AC is cool and shower is hot. The grounds are beautiful and the small pool was refreshing. The weather was cloudy most of the time we stayed but we did get a quick peek of the volcano. It’s RIGHT THERE. What a beautiful view! I spent a lot of time reading on the small terrace and bird watching. It is a bit out of La Fortuna, but we had a rental car and it was nice to stay away from the hustle and bustle.

The property was beautiful from the landscaping to the many hummingbirds right outside our door. My kids and I loved sitting on the porch and enjoyed the rocking chair and hammock in the evening while listening to the rain. The rooms were clean, beds comfy, warm shower. The pool and hot tub were wonderful after a hike or other adventures in the area. Our host Berenice was amazing!

Old house and installation but they are attentive, you will not find the latest technology and luxury handrails but everything is functional and decorated with tasteful taste. Breakfast 9 different alternatives, for a small hotel I think it is fantastic. It is appreciated. It is a la carte. From 7 am to 9 30 am. We asked the last day 10 minutes in advance to take away and there was no problem. The small room was the perfect size, with a private bathroom and a small corner rack for storage.

The place is located away from the crowds, in a quiet area surrounded by lush forest and with a volcano towering right above you. The scenery looks unreal! While the rooms are very basic, there is everything you need for a comfortable stay: the showers work, the kitchen is equipped, there's a place to wash and dry clothes. And the garden around the house is simply gorgeous! The host was super friendly and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed, even though we arrived very late.
