The location of the hostel is fantastic. It's a little walk to the beach but it has direct access to a beautiful river and it's quiet at night. The food, vibe and view are amazing. Great place to relax and rest. The beds are super comfy and the personnel and owners were very accommodating.

The staff and owners are incredibly friendly and helpful and made our stay the best. Their cute and well-behaved animals were a big plus! The hostel is clean, the beds comfortable and the aircon great (and necessary). Delicious breakfast. Good wifi! Located in a calmer part of Santa Marta with fewer restaurants, although close to the beach. A bit noisy during the evenings due to the traffic outside. Ideal for people traveling in groups or in pairs.

Really enjoyed this stay. Large, spacious room, hot water in showers, large and tasty breakfast, very friendly staff. The location is basically at the center of Minca, so it's not as deep in nature as some lodges that are higher in the mountains, but I found this to be an advantage as I could hike in a different direction each day - plus, all the shops, services, transportation, and restaurants were really close. Amazing mountain view from the balcony. Hope to come back here some day.

We stayed there for 10 nights. Mr. Johan's personal and friendly attitude throughout the entire time we stayed was excellent. Johan took care of us, explained to us about the place and gave recommendations for trips in the area, good and cheap restaurants and beaches that made our vacation in the village pleasant and successful. The location is excellent, clean and spacious rooms with air conditioning and good water pressure in the shower. There is also a good and cheap laundry service. Highly recommended!

Clean, calm, beautiful place. Very nicely decorated and astonishing surroundings. Fresh river accessible in the backyard where one can swim if one want, otherwise the superb pool in the garden is excellent. The food was tasty, really homecooked directly prepared at the stove with a lovely familiar atmosphere. The rooms was amazing with working air conditioning, clean surfaces and bedsheets and a terrace. The host was very easily reachable, extremely friendly and helped us with a bunch of advices for our travels! All in all just a wonderful experience which I highly recommend to anyone!

Such a comfy room and super clean. Great private balcony but also a very nice common area. Really tasty breakfast. This place has a drinking water refill which I appreciate so much, both for saving money and the environment while we are travelling- thank you! Quiet and relaxing vibe overall so you can see birds flying around, so cool. Beautiful views. I was sad to leave!

Angel and Ana were amazing, very dedicated and friendly staff. They made our stay even better. The location right in the park is great to reach the beaches by foot or get the bus after the entrance to get to them. The view on the jungle and room + facilities were great. The breakfast was delicious. We were staying at the mirador hotel in the park before and we had to change because of the poor quality of everything and the absence of wifi. We were glad to find Yachai even if we had to add a little more money to stay there. It was really worth it.
