The hostel manager Victor was extremely helpful; he gave us advice numerous times about trips, tours, booked us a taxi, arranged packed lunches for when we wanted a day in Tayrona Park, etc. Nothing seemed like an inconvenience to him. He also allowed us to check in 90 mins early. Hostel was clean, rooms were a good size, had a lovely pool area (again good size) and was good value for money. Was 1km walk to the park which was helpful and had a handful of nice restaurants and cafes nearby (on the main road just outside). Would 100% use again and recommend to friends and family.

The staff is very accommodating and helpful, they have a water refill station which is amazing as it reduces the amount of plastic and is very handy. The room is spacious, basic but has everything one needs. There's only cold water, but it's everywhere in this part of Colombia, just be prepared. We loved the location as it's away from the noise and pollution of Minca, but close enough to a couple of good restaurants (you must try the Japanese place 2 minutes away, the food was extra delicious and the owners are so lovely). The hidden waterfall is walkable distance too and it was our favourite one of them all - almost no people, clean and deep enough to swim. Another MUST DO is a visit to Plan B, it's a farm nearby where they do tours. It was the best experience we had so far.
