I hardly ever leave reviews but this place, especially the amazing host Felipe, deserves it! Felipe is one of the kindest people we have ever met. During our 4 month travels, we haven’t met anyone as giving, respectful and kind as Felipe. Not only did he help us with anything we needed (including hanging and folding our laundry!), we also spent a traditional December festivity evening with him. We lit candles and he prepared a lovely coke and rum cocktail for us. He also gave us yummy Colombian sweets to try, all out of kindness. These are only a few of the many things Felipe did for us. About the location, it is in a fairly quiet, non-touristic neighbourhood, but it’s safe and very close to a big metro station (Hospital), which will take you anywhere. Felipe, if we ever return to Medellin, we will 100% stay with you! Thank you so much again for everything (and give the 8 cats lots of hugs from us too). ❤️

Excellent place! In the middle of the nature. Many animals/birds coming in the morning. The owner is a very good chef/cook and makes delicious breakfast/dinner. The refugio is very close to the mirador/viewpoint (just 5min walking). Great place to calm down, have some great peaceful time in the nature

Everything was perfect! Aura is amazing — warm, kind, and incredibly welcoming. She made us feel at home from the moment we arrived and even recommended great local spots. The property is spotless, very comfortable, and perfectly located. The value for money is unbeatable. There’s even a kitchen available, which we didn’t use, but it’s great to have the option. Truly the best place to stay in the area!
