We traveled in April in the rainy season, we had Excellent view to the river. There is a lot of birds to see in the wild around the property. We did the walking in the jungle at night and visited the rehabilitation monkey foundation, both were guided by indigenous that were locals and counted with all the expertise. The food in the accommodation was very good, we tried new fruits and enjoy our time

At the guest house, each unit is equipped with bed linen and towels. Our stay here with Leo and his wife, Elizabeth, exceeded our expectations. The rooms are comfortable and the hammocks are a great way to unwind after a long day. Leo took us on amazing adventures and when conflicts with scheduling happened, he saw to it that we were well taken care of. He speaks some English and we speak some Spanish, but it was only a small obstacle and it didn’t take away from the tours. Leo is incredibly patient and knowledgeable about the area and Elizabeth is an amazing cook. It felt like they had included us as family during our stay. Thank you for taking such great care of us during our adventure. We would recommend this stay to anyone.

Eco Hostel RENASE is a recently renovated guest house in Leticia, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. The accommodation provides full-day security, luggage storage space and organising tours for guests. My stay was amazing. The lodge is immersed in the Amazon forest. The location was ideal as it is easily accessible by bus from Leticia. Mario and Joana welcomed me and were always around in case I needed anything. Joana helped me organize activities around the Amazon and even helped me plan the rest of my trip to Iquitos. She arranged breakfast earlier than planned when I needed to leave early and prepared a small desert for me when I arrived. I truly felt welcomed and loved my stay at Renase.

At the guest house, each unit includes bed linen and towels. Probably the best hostel in the entire Amazon! Not only are the owners and their entire family extremely kind and helpful, the food is also amazing and they are the only place in Macedonia (the village) with uninterrupted electricity and high speed internet thanks to solar panels and Starlink (satellite internet). I got quite a bit of work done during my stay and was also able to relax. The hostel is located at the edge of the village (about 5 min walking from where you arrive by boat), which means that it's very quiet and peaceful.

The units at the inn come with a shared bathroom and bed linen. We had an excellent time staying with German, Sara and Calet. The location is great, as it allows you to explore the Amazon (both the river and the jungle) with the tours offered with ease. Before we arrived Calet was very helpful by providing us information about the tours possible and advising us on what we need to bring. Botas impermeables were provided, meaning we did not have to pack and bring them ourselves. The property is very clean and comfortable, and there is electricity and Wi-Fi at the property from about mid morning to 12pm. Sara cooked delicious local food for us for all three meals which were excellent value for money. There was a lot of flexibility with the activities we wanted to do, and we were able to do everything we wanted, including seeing the pink dolphins. It was also nice to stay somewhere where it is clear your money is going directly to support both a family, and the surrounding community. We had an amazing time staying here and would recommend it to anyone.
