Very nice lodge in Puerto Narino, we were staying in a double room with, comfortable bed, there are two very efficient fans and a mosquito net around the bed (we were there during a dry season so not many mosquitoes). Breakfast, simple but nice, served at a little terrace, and a small kitchen is also available. There is a nice balcony with a view to the river to chill. The staff can help you organise activities in the Amazon with their guide Alex, who took us to a nice trip to a village across the river in Peru, to see the sloths and visit a community. They have a wide range of activities, recommend informing yourself a few days before and making a plan, but you can also find something on the spot. Be advised that there are domestic animals in the gardens around so you will likely wake up early with the sound of roosters - but that is part of the experience!

The rooms are comfortable and the hammocks are a great way to unwind after a long day. Leo took us on amazing adventures and when conflicts with scheduling happened, he saw to it that we were well taken care of. He speaks some English and we speak some Spanish, but it was only a small obstacle and it didn’t take away from the tours. Leo is incredibly patient and knowledgeable about the area and Elizabeth is an amazing cook. It felt like they had included us as family during our stay. Thank you for taking such great care of us during our adventure. We would recommend this stay to anyone.

Eco Hostel RENASE is a recently renovated guest house in Leticia, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. The accommodation provides full-day security, luggage storage space and organising tours for guests. It's a very quiet place, great to sleep, to rest and to medidate. It's surrounded by the forest. The food is delicious and tipical of the Amazon.

At the guest house, each unit includes bed linen and towels. Probably the best hostel in the entire Amazon! Not only are the owners and their entire family extremely kind and helpful, the food is also amazing and they are the only place in Macedonia (the village) with uninterrupted electricity and high speed internet thanks to solar panels and Starlink (satellite internet). I got quite a bit of work done during my stay and was also able to relax. The hostel is located at the edge of the village (about 5 min walking from where you arrive by boat), which means that it's very quiet and peaceful.

The units at the inn come with a shared bathroom and bed linen. We have traveled half the world and have never experienced anything like this. We do not speak Spanish, but we still felt perfectly taken care of. We saw the jungle from both land and water, we saw dolphins and learned about the Amazonian natural methods of dyeing fabrics and handicrafts. We fished for piranhas in a scenery like from Indiana Jones. But the best thing was the hospitality with which we were received. Always delicious meals 3 times a day. Infinite understanding if our language was too weak to ask something. Thank you very much, you are beautiful people
