This is a true gem. We have never met hosts like these ones. The couple, Pamela and Carlos, are not only nice and friendly and accommodating, but they seriously try to do whatever it takes to make your Rapa Nui experience unforgettable. They offer an airport transfer and a delicious breakfast at no additional cost, even though these are not included in the booking.com offer. They recommend tour agencies, restaurants and other points of interest that are super reliable. They go as far as taking you to some places if you cannot afford other means of visiting. Don't overuse their kindness! As for the Hostal: the room is quite spacious, the bed is very comfortable, all spaces are spotless clean, especially the bathroom. The room is decorated with much taste. You can use the amazingly beautiful outside terraces with lots of flowers to relax. There is a common kitchen shared by all rooms, which is superbly equipped with everything necessary, even for cooking yourself, which you won't do, because the food offered in the restaurants is delicious. Even though there is no air con, the temperature in the room is pleasant with windows open. There are some chickens in the backyard and a lovely cat, that adores snacks. Overall the quality that you receive for the money paid is unbelievable, so look no further and book now!

Te Ra a Travel Suit Matrimonial, a property with a garden, is set in Hanga Roa, 17 km from Ahu Tongariki, 3.4 km from Vinapu, as well as 4.1 km from Tahai. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Puna Pau is 4.3 km away and Hanga Roa Anthropological Museum is 4.6 km from the guest house. Great value for money. It’s a bit far from town, this is the only negative thing but this house is way cheaper than others so even I take a taxi to go to the town, is’s still reasonable. The best thing is hosts, I’ve never experienced such a high level of kinndness from hosts.

Facilities for disabled guests are also available at the property. Nothing to complain about, clean, spacious, the host extremely welcoming, if I came back I wouldn't choose anything else.

The owner - Claudio - is a friendly guy who will not only accommodate you very well, but will help you arrange trips with the best guides and recommend local restaurants and bars. In the hostel you have a well-equipped kitchen, a terrace and, as a package, two adorable orange-white cats and friendly dogs who will want to go everywhere with you on walks. The biggest advantage of the hostel is its location - close to Tahai - the best place for sunsets on the island. The internet worked perfectly - which is a huge advantage and a rarity on this island. I wholeheartedly recommend a stay here and if I am lucky enough to return to Easter Island, I will definitely return to this hostel.

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Mata Nui Eco Hostel is a recently renovated guest house set in Hanga Roa, less than 1 km from Pea. With inner courtyard views, this accommodation provides a patio. The accommodation offers airport transfers, while a car rental service is also available. Started out well. Were kindly picked up at the airport and given beautiful leis. We were also given an unexpected short tour of town before arriving at the room.
