Some units feature a seating area where you can relax. All rooms share a bathroom in the corridor. We were invited to sit down and have some home-brewed tea at the Gasthaus after walking from the main station. Then we were taken to our room. It was simple, super clean,and practical. Our stay was for two nights, and the second night we were moved to the top floor to a room with many windows and an impressive parquet flooring. If you have a chance, for breakfast, have the Bircher muesli!. It’s one of a kind. A big thank you to Samia and Melanie, who were always available, and answered all questions willingly. The tram convenience is worth noting. We would love to return.

The location of the accommodation is very central and conveniently close to many cafes and shops. The room was comfortable and well maintained. The staff was very friendly, kind and helpful. They have arranged an extra bed in our room for my additional friend last minute. We loved the view from breakfast terrace!

Located in the centre of Zurich, Fred Guest House Hauptbahnhof - Self Check-in is 20 metres from the Sihlquai tram station, 50 metres from the Hauptbahnhof and within a 5-minute walking distance from the Swiss National Museum. Free wired internet access is available in all rooms. location was good, bottle of water in room and complimentary coffee/tea in lobby was very nice and water and little candies at Fred's hotel was also nice and luggage storage was helpful for us
