Great location (10 minutes on foot from piazza grande, quiet place, parking in front), amazing and charming apartment perfectly equipped and sparkling clean, nice and responsive host! Among the facilities at this property are room service and a business centre, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Guests can make use of a bar. Nice and spacious room. Nice and clean bathroom with lots of towels. We could use an indoor pool. The outdoor pool wasn't open, but they did open it on our request. We had a very nice view from the balcony and the window in the room. Beds were clean and comfortable. Very good blind on the window allowed me to go to bed early in a dark room. There was a small refrigerator in the room with two small bottles of water. Breakfast was amazing, everything nice, really tasty and fresh. You couldn't possibly taste it all and eat there was so much of it. We got a coffee for breakfast and then we were offered another coffee. I was also able to hire for free walking poles. The whole place, everything we've used was nice and clean.

The unit is air conditioned and is comprised of a terrace with an outdoor dining area as well as a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The guest house offers bed linen, towels and housekeeping service. Very comfortable room in a great location. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Great breakfast

One parking space on site is guaranteed per room. The Ascona Bus Stop is 500 metres away. The hosts were so lovely and kind and made sure we had everything we needed. Our dog was also very welcome and the breakfast was high quality and lovely as well!

Typical Ticino-style Pensione Olanda is 1 km from the Madonna del Sasso pilgrimage church, and features garden and a terrace, furnished with deckchairs and offering panoramic views of Locarno and Lake Maggiore. Wi-Fi is available in the entire building for free. Really lovely place with many thoughtful touches. My room had a lovely view as did the terrace. The breakfast was outstanding with lots of homemade jams, dips and cake. The owner is super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.

The bright rooms at Luna Garni Hotel are equipped with cable TV, an electronic safe, a work desk, and a modern bathroom with a shower or bath. Good location, quiet street, but still in the centre of the city. Parking 10 CHF per night, no problem with spaces. Good breakfast, everything we would like to see. Nice and helpful staff. At night the hotel has no receptionist, you have to collect your keys until late. Funny but useful system for the keys - you leave you big key and take small one with you. Same key opens the front door. Rooms are spacious enough, clean and fresh. If you are late there is a fridge with drinks and you just put down what you took. Good system!

The rooms at Hotel Garni Golf all feature a TV, and a bathroom with hairdryer. They feature air conditioning or a ceiling fan. Fantastic family-run hotel, with a personal touch, very friendly, great location, good facilities, excellent breakfast, and nearby parking. The hotel is owned and run by a couple (supported by Melody, a lovely little dog), who truly care about their business and about their clients. They are extremely friendly and helpful, engaged and personal. Thank you for making our stay special! The hotel has an excellent location, just off the promenade. Some of the rooms on the third floor offer stunning lake and mountain  views from the balconies. The rooms are in very good shape, with all the necessary facilities. Breakfast is fantastic, offering exquisite local bread and meat, as well as fresh fruits (the pineapple was deliciously sweet). Although the hotel is located in the car-free zone of Ascona, it offers private parking within three minute walking distance from the hotel. Upon arrival and departure, you can even drive through the pedestrian zone to reach the hotel to load/offload luggage. Contact the hotel for details. Now that we know this hotel, on our next visit to Ascona we will for sure stay here again.

The Garni Villa Siesta Park is a hotel in Losone, a 15-minute walk from Ascona. It features a huge flower garden and a barbecue area. Sun loungers, umbrellas and a heated outdoor swimming pool are available from May to September, inviting you to relax under the sun. Breakfast was great, in particular local cheese, which I like but a lot was available, boiled eggs, bread and toppings, yogurt, cereals, coffee and much more. More me the location was perfect, because I needed to go to Monte Verità on a daily basis but I did not come by car. It is a much more difficult trip from the Ascona side up the hill. The staff were very polite and helpful, probably more so than in any other place I have been to. I even received a few locally made chocolate bars as a gift upon leaving. Because it is a rather small place and the staff is apparently multiple friends that run the business together, the staff-to-customer rate was extremely high. Because I was there for work, I really didn't have time to do things such as swim in the swimming pool, but the garden and pool area looked really nice.
