The little Bernese Oberland village of Habkern lies in in a wind-protected and fog-free valley, off the beaten tourist track. Everything! The proprietors, our room, the food, Gary the hostess (fantastic!!), the church bells and the views of the Alps were all incredible! The bakery, grocery store across the street was fabulous when opened. It was not opened everyday. This was a true swiss Alps village away from the city and on a vast beautiful mountain range with cows, and horses and beautiful chalets and the people! It was about 20 minutes down a windy road into Interlarken. Perfect location. We had a car but used the bus pass that the hotel gave us which was extremely helpful. We give this place a 15 out of 10 stars. It was just perfect in every way for a small village. Highly recommended

The bed and breakfast is surrounded by a garden with a terrace. The shore of Lake Thun is 2.5 km away. Great stay, location is great, the staff are friendly and helpful. Very clean. They changed the bed cheats after first night. You don’t see this even in 5 star hotel these days. The breakfast was good. It’s a very cozy warm and friendly place. I highly recommend it to any one visiting Interlaken. Specially for groups and family.

It's a beautiful hotel. if you do get it, it's a steal. everyone is very very welcoming and friendly. rooms are equipped with hot water kettle and they also have a microwave with cutlery available in the common room for guests to use. all day long you can go to the common room and enjoy a coffee overlooking interlaken from their lovely balcony. we also recieved free interlaken guest card that allowed us to use public transport complimentary with many discounts on the attractions. this place is the best
