The hostess was very welcoming and offered us an upgrade following a last minute misunderstanding. We appreciated the beautiful apartment we were offered in an authentic fourteenth century building with impeccable decor. Chantal was very caring.

Wonderful stay at the Bed and Breakfast Region Murtensee.
Very well equipped apartment, bright, large terrace with nice view, quiet. The breakfasts are delicious and complete. And above all Carmen is an extraordinary host, warm welcome, always available to help and answer questions.

I was travelling with my family and we arrived late to the Pension. They made it easy to find, however, with lots of directions and communication. We were greeted with warmness, and showed to our well appointed, immaculate rooms, where we all slept very well., My mom says: “Exceptional service and ultra clean, with really high quality bedding.” My dad says “I would recommend to a friend, and I would go back there”.

The property is beautiful. It was perfect for a visit to Switzerland. In the mountains, but only 30 minutes from Lausanne. I was treated with such kindness and hospitality. I can only imagine the property during ski season.

Chantal was very generous with her time and "voluntarily" helped us with parking fine problem and she fixed the problem for us. We are very grateful for that. The room was charming, however it is in a very old building so the room was a bit small, as expected. But is in the heart of old town, great location.
The location was simply perfect. You seek a quiet break, or a place to focus in the middle of nature, then look no further.
I like the wooden floors!
The breakfast was simple, fresh and tasty. Mine included a fried egg done in way that was so tasty. Compliments to the breakfast chef. This hotel restaurant has a Michelin star !!

Room was very big and nice, beds were very comfy, it was a rustic like feeling. Location and host is good. Point to note - bus 260 to Gruyere Ville operates till 7+pm from the Gruyeres main station - check google maps. Use the bus otherwise its a long uphill walk. Quiet town with food places nearby. No supermarket though, have to take the bus and go to another village for the supermarket like Migros or Denner. Ate at the restaurant and the food was good too. The kitchen was fully equipped and easy to use.
