We arrived after check-in hours and the staff made it so easy for us, so that when we arrived, we would have no problem at all. It is a nice country house, decorated with elegance with a large stylish room, where beds are so comfy and silence is your friend all day and night. It is thought for quality sleep and absolute rest, which is what I expect in all hotels but unfortunately, it is not always like that. Breakfast is so complete and varied; besides, it has quality food, which tastes so well when you have the Alps in front of you.

Continental and American breakfast options with fruits, juice and cheese are available. At the guest house, the family-friendly restaurant is open for dinner, lunch and high tea and specialises in local cuisine. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel like we were staying with close family or friends. The village of Wilderwil is a sight to behold, with its mesmerizing beauty that captures the essence of Switzerland's enchanting landscapes. 😍 The facilities at the chalet were more than adequate, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Each morning, we were treated to a delightful breakfast featuring authentic Swiss cuisine—absolutely loved the bread, butter, and sausages! *While a bit more variety day-to-day would have been appreciated, the authentic taste of the food, provided a delightful compensation for the limited selection.. 😉 Overall, our stay was wonderful, and we highly recommend this chalet to anyone looking to experience genuine Swiss hospitality in a picturesque setting. We're already looking forward to our next visit with Mr. Fritz and Mrs. Gabi! 😇

Situated in the car-free Wengen in the Jungfrau Region, Hotel Berghaus enjoys a quiet location surrounded by the Bernese Alps. The Männlichen Cable Car and the village centre are only a short walk away. Very friendly staff. Beautiful location with breathtaking views of the nearby mountains. Good sized room, very clean. I'm happy I chose to stay in this small village, it's not nearly as full as Grindelwald for example.
