The place and hosts are AMAZING. True professionals of hospitality: very warm and kind people, everything they prepared was first-class or better. The place is clean and cozy, place in a nice location between Kingscote and Pennshaw (American River). There are koalas walking around! They managed to heat the room very creatively by inserting heating lights in the bathroom. There is a view of the ocean from the window, the room is very well equipped, and they even put umbrellas in the closet. The breakfast was outstanding: delicious, and the hosts did their best to listen to us and satisfy are - demanding! - requests. They were very helpful and suggested nice trips which we indeed did and were very satisfied with.

Wonderful cabin in the woods! Kangaroos and wallabies were visiting the area to get some water - it was an amazing experience. Would definitely come back :)

Craig was a wonderful host. We got lost heading there at night and he helped us get settled. His recommendations were also spot on and we managed to see all the wildlife in the area, whether in the trees on the property (koalas, Kimmy, Jimmy, and Ducky) or on the coast (dolphins). Would highly recommend this property and any other the other CandE properties on the island. Tips for travelling to KI: - No small car hire even if your party is small - gravel roads for some of the prettiest locations. - Get the KI tourist booklet at the airport - only Telstra gets connection, so the island map is a lifesaver. - Definitely reach out to Craig for island recommendations :)

Property was in a great location, centrally located for everything we wanted to experience whilst on Kangaroo Island. The accommodation was spacious, stylishly furnished and spotlessly clean. Facilities and amenities were very thoughtfully considered - we wanted for nothing. We saw many kangaroos and echidna from the accommodation window - wildlife heaven! Would highly recommend and if we are fortunate enough to return to Kangaroo Island, we would 100% stay there again.
