The staff were simply superb. Very engaging, friendly - they really made us feel welcome. The bedrooms were all very nicely furnished, comfortable, with a great standard of linen, sheets, etc. The view across the street was very quaint. For those with sensitive hearing, please beware the church which is very close by. A lovely building oozing character, accompanied by bells around 6am - a good wake up call if you sleep with the window open! We also dined in the Gasthaus Rössle and the food was excellent. Again, great service with excellent cuisine.

Everything is very satisfying! Great location. It is clean and has a nice interior and decoration. A soft bed, a thick blanket, and a big pillow. I have had a nice and cozy sleep there. Have a good morning with their nice breakfast! Great variation of food! And many local choices. The homemade dessert is wonderful! The staff are all friendly and nice.

Der Thomataler Wirt is a charming place located in the small Austrian village of Thomatal. Everything was charming and authentic, the breakfast is excellent, the rooms are large, clean and warm. There is a possibility of dinner as well. Large parking area in proximity. The staff are very friendly. I would definitely come back again.

Everything is new, beautiful wooden smell, well equipped. The host was very friendly and helpful. And there was nothing more I could have wished for a breakfast. I will probably go back. My kids loved it too. Strongly recommend!!
