(If your schedule is not thight, I personally recommend asking for advice from Renato. We organized everything in advance and it was a mistake.) He took care of our car while we were gone, his wife did the laundry for us. It would have been so many things to write about...they are amazing People and Hosts! Dear Renato! We felt so lucky to discover Mathilda and Aryan’s place on the river near Lake Koman. We originally stopped for just one night before taking the ferry, but easily could have stayed several more. The setting is beautiful, with great hiking trails and a working farm where we enjoyed grapes and fresh produce right from the garden. The pool was perfect for an afternoon dip, and Mathilda and Aryan were such warm and generous hosts. Dinner with them is a must, the food and company made the experience unforgettable. The road getting there was a bit rough, but we just took it slow in our rental car and were fine and it looks like it should be finished in a few months. We’d love to come back and spend more time hiking, especially up to the fortress on the hill behind their house

Spotlessly clean room and bathroom, very comfortable bed. The owner was very lovely, she prepared us a huge breakfast every morning which was perfect fuel for the hikes we did. I cannot recommend it enough.

The place had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and it’s just perfect if you want to enjoy Shirokë without any hassle. Wish we had more time there – we’d definitely come back!
