Everything was a short walk away - restaurants, the bazaar, the castle. Note: It's important to be aware that it's a very hilly town and you will be walking up or down almost all the time. I saw many people with walking sticks - definitely a good idea if you are at all concerned.

Situated 44 km from Zaravina lake, Guest house Loloçi offers air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The guest house has family rooms. Super nice hosts, they were really kind and welcoming and despite the language barrier we felt at home. The breakfast was great, we had it in the morning cold on the terrace with a really nice view and fresh fruit, eggs, veggies, juices etc. A small little kitten bringing us some company and joy. The room was clean and cosy.

The hosts were extremely helpful, providing clear directions on how to reach the property (definitely follow them if you book 😉) and even helped us find parking after checkout. The apartment is perfectly located in the historic center of Gjirokastra, close to all the main attractions.

The guest house features family rooms. Very centric, Sofia is lovely she helped us find the guest house, wrote in advance and even called. Breakfast was was great. The room looks very nice and new. The room has more than enough space for two people and the bathroom is also very spacious. Good mini fridge that actually cools beverages. You can drink tap water in the city. The AC was also pretty nice compared to others we experienced around.

Mimosa made us feel at home. She even upgraded us to a bigger room on arrival. The view outside is nothing short of incredible. Very highly recommended.

It is on top of Gjirokastër, so arriving by car is a little tricky (Google Maps ideas are partially incorrect, and there are roadworks blocking one of the roads).
