The family didn't speak much English, but they were very nice and we were able to communicate anyways. The room was exactly as the pictures, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was ok.

The property overlooks Berat new town with its huge and busy promenade. The owner is a professor who has studied Albanian history and staying here encompasses a lot of that history. The hosts are lovely and passionate about their Albanian heritage. The room has a very comfortable and large double bed, with good aircon and wifi. There is a communal lounge with tea/coffee making facilities.

Location is great, house has soul with sculptures of the owner adding unique experience. Breakfast was very good, but the best was eating it on the balcony with stunning view. Host is very friendly and gave us usefull info about the house history and the town. We forgot few things there, and she send us all back to Slovenia on her costs🙏
