We had an amazing stay at this fantastic property! Not only was it stunning, but they also warmly welcomed our dogs, which made us feel right at home. Tracy was absolutely wonderful—she greeted us with such warmth and went above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect stay. The property is breathtaking, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, and Tracy even recommended a fantastic place for dinner, which we loved. Her kindness and attention to detail truly made our experience unforgettable. Our entire stay was simply fantastic, and we highly recommend this place to anyone. We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed here on the recommendation of our good friends. We were really touched by the warm welcome from the owners. Beautifully decorated, stylish rooms perfectly combined with modern amenities. Everything was incredibly tasteful, with an amazing sense of detail. It was truly a pleasure for the soul. The breakfast served in the garden by the stream was absolutely magical. The food was delicious and you could see that every little detail had been carefully considered. We have stayed in different places all over the world, but we will never forget this fabulous accommodation. If we ever have a chance to travel around again, we will definitely stay here again. As usual excellent experience with the Saxe Coburg Team. Very welcoming and friendly. Always a pleasure to meet with all of the them. The location is perfect at the heart of the town with shade, swimming pool and solar panels to avoid the drawbacks of the loadshading.

Everything was amazing! The attention to detail was just so outstanding, this was absolutely the best self-catering accommodation we have ever stayed in. Everything was so beautiful and a few extras thrown in to male everything even nicer. Good internet connection, and you hardly notice loadshedding, since wofi, tv, and lamps still work (and the gas kettle). Could have stayed here forever!

The cottage was lovely and very clean. The bed was really comfy. It was our best sleep of our trip! Riaan was very friendly and helpful! The dogs were so sweet and cute! Prince Albert is a lovely place to stay and we would definitely come back to the Olive Thrush Cottage when we come back to South-Africa.
