Super nice couple which let us in! Lovely room with little things that made me smile (e.g. Ear sticks, bottle of tzitzikamma water). Good location close to Robberg Nature Reserve and surrounding!

Tidal Retreat is a little piece of heaven in this world. Jan and Anneke are the perfect hosts and welcomed us into their beautiful accommodation as if we were family. We were travelling with our 2 sons (10yrs and 13 yrs) and couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful location to spend Easter weekend 2025. From the amazing views of the wrap around balcony, the private beach, Bessie’s lovely breakfasts, the cleanliness and attention to detail of the apartment and most of all the warm welcome and brilliant guidance and advice that Jan and Anneke offered us during our stay. it’s amazing! super well located, attention to every detail, super clean and well maintained. There was an electricity problem in our room and the host didn’t hesitate to move us to another room (more expensive). breakfast is just perfect.

Easy check-in with key box. Safe area 20 m from the beach with a parking space. Stunning house with all facilities. Offer to borrow SUB, kayak and a helping hand to get started : ) On a blackboard you get all the most valuable recommendations for dinner, what to do aso. We stayed there twice and cant think of a better holiday concept. Perfect for us when travelling with our teenage daughter and perfect this time with out friends. The host, Corlia, is also very helpful and easy to communicate with before and during the stay. We will come back every time we visit Plett and there is availiability.

We only stayed one night on our way to Wilderness and it was absolutely worth it. The room was very cosy and the hotel is a 5 minutes walk to the beach. The staff recommended a great restaurant (Nguni) to us and even managed to make a last minute reservation for us. Breakfast was very good too!
