The rooms were huge with a real feeling of being in South Africa. The landscape is beautiful, lots of native trees and lush greenery around the property. I’d recommend the restaurant too, fabulous food and wine. Staff were so friendly and helpful- really welcoming! If you want to avoid the generic hotels and get a real sense of place in a relaxed atmosphere, I’d highly recommend Summerhill.

Very quiet and peaceful . Own Private entrance, under cover parking, very secure Fully equipped kitchenette, comfortable bed , Airconditioning, own garden area with braai facility. Lovely view of the valley when you wake up. Very Clean with new finishes and modern decor .

Exceptional stay! If there was a higher rating on bookings.com I’d give it. Ingrid and Bruno are fantastic hosts, arguably the best I’ve ever stayed with and I’ve travelled extensively the last 23 years to every continent. The studio is super stylish, international standards, could be in Amsterdam, Paris or Berlin. It’s got everything you need and is super comfy whether you’re here for a night or a week. The garden is absolutely sublime too. Overall this property is very peaceful, conducive to remote working with excellent wifi and getting good rest after a long day. I particularly like the location, it’s in a lovely area - close to the eco running trails, stores and animal hospital, which is why we were here. Lovely touches throughout-love the art by local artist Terry Angelos, wire weaver birds etc, so tastefulIy done, great attention to detail which I appreciate. I will only stay here when I’m in Pinetown again and recommend Ingrid and Bruno’s place to everyone. Thank you for having me and for being so kind and warm throughout my stay.
